"Pongáio" was the name my Aunt Mona gave to a long, green, cool room where we gathered at her home —
replete with comfy chairs, a rocker, sewing machine, sewing goods, beautiful beads, shelves, books, bibelots, photographs, odds'n'ends, mementos of a life, treasures —
a gathering of all the useful & 'useless' things that so make life a pleasure.

Got it done!

Got the living room shelves moved!
Which entailed taking everything out, cleaning, and then relocating the 2 smaller shelf units in the living room.
And then putting everything back in different places, which nearly overtaxed poor Tica & Teca's organization skills.
I did it from about four in the afternoon to eleven-plus at night. My knee certainly did not colaborate in getting up and down ladder and stools, especially at the end of the day.
I 'd stop every once in a while for a breather, do a knee stretch&rest, and to watch some Law&Order and House.
But, IT IS DONE! (...for the meanwhile)

Yippeee!

And why do I blog this definitely-not-earthshaking news?
To give my morale a boost!
I do delay, get waylaid, go off in web la-la land, but also do sometimes also get these pesky household jobs done!
